Rachel Oliver's quantum dot research in the spotlight

last modified Apr 07, 2016 10:52 AM

Rachel Oliver's EPSRC-funded research on developing InGaN quantum dots for single photon sources has been highlighted in a Science and Engineering South interview. The project is in collaboration with Professor Robert Taylor at Oxford University, Plessey Semiconductors, and Toshiba, and aims to develop room-temperature single photon emission from nitride quantum dots for encryption and security applications.

We conduct world leading research into nitride based III-V semiconductors: material quality, characterisation and device development.

We are passionate about education and outreach! If you would like support for an education project then please .
