Cambridge Centre for Gallium Nitride

A huge congratulation to Piotr Sokolinski and Ben Thornley for winning the student prizes for their excellent presentations on porous GaN distributed Bragg reflectors at  the UK Nitrides Consortium (UKNC) winter meeting 2025 hosted by the University of Cambridge.
Piotr presented his work on the modelling of the acid etching pathways in porous GaN DBRs, while Ben gave an overview talk on a cascade model for the defect-mediated electrochemical etching of porous GaN DBRs.
Well done.
