Cambridge Centre for Gallium Nitride
The Science Minister Sam Gyimah visited the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy yesterday (16th May) and toured the labs. We were glad to have the opportunity to be able to tell him about our work on light emitting diodes, single photon sources and graphene and to show him our growth facilities.
We conduct world leading research into nitride based III-V semiconductors: material quality, characterisation and device development.
