Last weekend, Rachel Oliver and Colin Humphreys appeared on "The Naked Scientists" radio show on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire. The show was broadcast live and is now available as a podcast here. The programme focussed on how LED technology made with GaN is transforming lighting applications across the board. Also featured are robotics to treat heart failure and an investigation into whether we really do eat spiders when we sleep!
