The Cambridge Centre for Gallium Nitride was delighted to play host to a delegation from the Chengdu Municipal People's Government, along with their colleagues from Chinese Industry and our collaborators Plessey Semiconductors. Dr Rachel Oliver led a tour of the nitride growth and characterisation facilities ably assisted by the post-doctoral researchers and then the visitors enjoyed a trip to Selwyn College where Prof Colin Humphreys and Dr Oliver presented out past, present and future work on nitride technologies
