IOM3 Cambridge Region Young Persons' Lecture Competition

This evening is the Cambridge Region Young Persons' Lecture Competition of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining and the GaN group is very well represented. We have three entrants giving talks across our work on GaN

Lok Yi Lee will be presenting her work on the cubic project: "Cubic zincblende gallium nitride for green-wavelength light emitting diodes"

John Jarman and Helen Springbett will give two talks on their contributions to our work on quantum light sources. John on: "Light Machinery: nanoscale engineering of materials for quantum light sources" and Helen on: "Single photon sources for quantum cryptography"

The talks will be given on the 23rd February from 18:30 in Goldsmith's 1 in the Materials Science and Metallurgy building. All are welcome!

For more information on the competition see the IOM3 website.
