Cambridge Centre for Gallium Nitride

 

Rachel Oliver, who has lead research and supervised students in the GaN centre for many years has been made Professor of Materials Science as of today.

The promotion recognises her strong leadership, comprehensive knowledge in Materials Science and dedication to the group's research. With over 250 publications, she is a prolific researcher, contributing a great deal to the broader GaN community, as well as a dedicated advocate for science outreach and women in STEM.
