Cambridge Centre for Gallium Nitride

Rachel Oliver and a team of group members were invited to present a talk and a set of exciting demos to the students of Chesterton Community College's Science Club earlier this month. The team demonstrated how to communicate using light, which included a simple LiFi data circuit, a demo on optical fibre communication, and an experiment to demonstrate the use of single photon sources for quantum key distribution, but with tennis balls! Well done to all who took part!
