Many congratulations to Rachel Oliver, who has have received a prestigious RAEng/Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellowship from the Royal Academy of Engineering to help support her career while she focuses solely on the development of new technologies. Rachel will be relieved of teaching and administrative duties for the 2015/16 academic year and will focus on understanding the dependence of optical properties on structure in non-polar InGaN quantum dots, with the aim of developing improved nitride single photon sources.
