LEDs are well-known for revolutionising white lighting, but Lata will be giving a talk and a series of demos that highlight the other uses of LEDs, such as for communication, health, and medicine. Demonstrations will be recorded live and will be uploaded to the BBC online archive after the event. The Hay Festival is an annual literary festival held in Hay-on-Wye in Wales.
